Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life
Hello! Today I want to tell you and show to the maximum as possible Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life. It is located near from the old city center, which was going to in the preceding Article about Uzhhorod.
So, Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life - open-air museum in Uzhgorod (Ukraine), consists of architectural monuments of ancient Transcarpathian village and sample the oldest and most common types of folk art.
Started established in 1965, is open to visitors in June 1970 covers an area of 5.5 hectares, located near the site of Uzhgorod castle. The museum specimens and housing estates Transcarpathians lowland areas (Dolinians, Romanians and Hungarians) and - Highlanders (Boyko and Hutsul). In the open-air museum located 7 estates, 6 residential buildings, church, bell tower, a school, a smithy, a mill and tavern. The museum has over 14,000 exhibits.
One ticket for an adult costs 15 UAH (about 1.4 EUR or 1.85 USD) on 08/18/2013. In order to be able to photograph you have to pay another additional 10 UAH (about 1 EUR or 1.3 USD), which I think is a very small price.

I don't know on weekdays, but on weekends you can take pictures with a fully tame pigeons, rabbits and pheasants. This photo shoot with animals will cost you only 10 UAH. (1 EUR)
